KART X is the brainchild of passionate karting media indentities Ash Budd and Paul Carruthers who between them have over 30 years experience in the industry,
The KART X concept was seeded shortly after the 2007 AKA Australian National Sprint Kart Championships as a "Feature Based" print magazine for the Australian karting community.
At the time the Karting industry and competitors of Australia only had one choice and the pair believed they could inject a quality, professional, alternative product into the market.
After considerable work behind the scenes and 15 months of preperation and planning, the idea was shelved with the announcement of another Karting Magazine being launched into the Australian market.
KART X sat idle for sometime watching the progress and reception of this new publication into the sport in early 2009. We support and will contine to support the efforts of this publication, their product has merrit and continues to grow .
Reluctant to launch another print based model into the industry at this time alternative options for KART X were again investigated including the use of an online, digital-turnkey platform to host KART X on the internet as a complete digital medium.
KART X will support all types of karting from sprint racing and superkarts, to enduro racing anddirt competition.
Coverage within KART X will not be limited by affiliations to governing bodies, manufacturer, importer or race series. We are always on the lookout for new and exciting features.

There aren't many people in the Australian Karting industry who dont know who we are or havent heard of us.
Ash and Paul have been working fulltime within the Australian motorsport media for many years and a major part of the current mainstream karting publicity
can somewhat be attributed to the pair with Ash behind tyre barriers photographing for a number of high profile publications and Paul working as karting journalist / editor for the national motorsport magazine Auto Action.
Both Paul and Ash are gifted, professional motosport photographers with over 30 years of combined experience and their motorsport images can be seen online and in motorsport publictions worldwide.
A strong friendship developed between the pair over a number of years and KART X was our calling to explore new opportunities in a publishing role and help push Australian karting to a new level of exposure.
